This guide will help you set up event registration for events occurring over multiple dates, such as a weekend retreat or conference. This allows attendees to register for the entire event or specific dates and helps you track attendance for each date.
Elvanto Tip
This feature is best suited for events that recur at the same time each day (e.g., a three-day event from 5pm to 8pm daily). If your event has varying dates and times (e.g., Friday 5-8pm, Saturday 2-8pm, Sunday 3-6pm), you should create separate events for each instance to accurately track registrations and attendance.
Creating Your Multi-Day Event
- Log into Elvanto as a Super Admin or a user with event creation permissions.
- Navigate to Events.
- Click ADD EVENT in the top right corner.
- Enter the event name and details. For multi-day events, enter the first date in the "Date and Time" field.
- In the Repeat Event field, select how many sessions you’re offering for registration. For example:
- If your event spans Friday, August 9 to Sunday, August 11, choose Weekly Repeat and select Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as the days to repeat. Set the end date as August 11.
- Complete the remaining event details and click Save to create the event.
Setting Up Registration for a Multi-Day Event
- After creating the event, go to the Registration tab to set up your tickets.
- Fill out the ticket fields and select Set Price per Occurrence. This allows you to set a price per day or offer a full-event ticket.
- For example, you can offer a full-event ticket for $30 or a single-day ticket for $10.
-
Link your Registration Form to the event. (See: How to Add Event Registration Form)
- Select your payment method options under the Event Registration tab.
- Save the event, and you're ready to go live!
