Groups are the best way to record your meetings in Elvanto. Utilizing all of the Groups’ features will ensure you get the most out of them.
What’s a Group?
A Group is how Elvanto organizes people who meet together but aren’t a Department. Examples include Home Groups, Small Groups, Women’s Groups, and even Church Boards.

Groups vs Events
Scheduling meetings as events can be very useful to ensure that no one misses the meeting, but you will miss out on many of the Astra functions of Groups if you don’t also set up a Group.
Group Notes
Group Notes are a great place to keep the records of your meeting for people who weren’t there. At any point after you’ve saved the note, other people can log in and have a look at what happened. Just make sure it’s not a Private Note.

Accessing Groups from the Member Area
If your meetings involve people without the access permissions needed to view Groups in the admin area, you can give them access to Groups in the Member Area.
