Why Can't I Register For My Event

If you encounter the error message "Sorry, we are not currently accepting registrations for this event," it means that a step in the event registration setup is missing or incomplete. This article guides you through the key areas to check to ensure your event is ready to accept registrations.

Five Areas to Check

1. Enable Event Registrations:

  1. Log in to Elvanto as an administrator or super admin.
  2. Go to Events and select the event you want to open for registration.
  3. On the Registrations tab, make sure the box next to "Event is accepting registrations" is checked.

2. Set Total Tickets Available:

In the Tickets section, enter the total number of tickets available for the event.

3. Configure Ticket Availability:

  1. Click the cog icon next to your ticket type.
  2. Set the available dates for purchase.
  3. Ensure the ticket is not hidden.
  4. Click Save.

4. Link a Registration Form:

In the Registration Form section, make sure a registration form is linked to the event.
If you need to create a form, go to Forms, click Add Form, and follow the instructions.

5. Link the Event to Your Form:

  1. Go to Forms and select the form you want to link.
  2. Go to the Edit tab.
  3. Under the Event heading, search for your event and click the green Add button.
  4. Click Save.
