Using Service Statistics

Throughout this article we are going to talk about how to report on services using various types of service statistics; as well as how to see overall analytics via your Dashboard! First, let’s go over setting up those statistics and editing that data.

Setting up Custom Statistics

  1. Go to Settings > Services.
  2. Under Service Reporting, drag and drop the following elements to customize your reporting:
    1. Headings: Organize your statistics with clear headings.
    2. Reporting Fields: Choose the metrics you want to track (e.g., attendance, offering amount, volunteer count).
    3. Note Fields: Add space for notes or observations.
    4. Separators: Visually divide your reporting sections.
  3. Arrange the elements in your preferred order and customize the names.

Entering Service Statistics

You can enter service statistics in two ways:

  1. During Service Entry: When recording attendance for a service, you'll see the custom fields you've set up. Enter the data directly.
  2. Editing Existing Records:
    1. Go to the Reporting tab.
    2. Click the Edit button next to the statistic you want to modify.
    3. Update the information and click Save.

Important Note: Built-in statistics, such as individual service attendance, are automatically generated and cannot be edited.

Viewing Service Statistics with Dashboard Widgets

Visualize your service statistics with easy-to-read widgets on your dashboard.

  1. Go to your dashboard and click Edit Dashboard.
  2. Click Add Widget and select Service Statistics.
