How to Create a Zip File

It is one of our goals here at to make data migration as painless as possible. With that in mind, please follow the directions below on how to create a zip file to submit all your data at one time.


  1. On your computer, locate the files you would like to submit

  2. Name these files to easily identify them i.e. ‘Your Church Name - Financial Data’ or ‘Your Church Name - People Data’

  3. Highlight all of these files. (You can do this by clicking and dragging your mouse over the files)

  4. While the files are selected right-click one of the files (if you are using a mac with a trackpad use two fingers and press down at once)

  5. In the pop up menu select to compress (zip) the files together

  6. A zip file will appear, here please rename the file to ‘Your Church Name’ that way we can quickly identify your data once submitted.
