Blocking or suspending an account is a necessary administrative task in many cases. This guide will walk you through the process of suspending individual or multiple accounts within the People's Account page or using Mass Manage.
Mark Individuals as Suspended in People's Account page
- Log into Elvanto as an Admin.
- Select People.
- Locate the individuals profile.

Access the Profile.
Note: Once you click on the person’s name, their profile will be loaded. Click their ‘Account’ tab. - Select Account & Volunteering tab.
- Locate Suspend account Option.
Note: The Suspend account option is located above their Username and Password. You'll see a checkbox to suspend their login details. - Check the Suspend account check box.
- Select Save.
Suspending Multiple Accounts Using Mass Manage
- Log into Elvanto as an Admin.
- Select People. You can also utilize a People View or Advance Search to compile a list of profiles that need to be updated via Mass Manage.
- Select the Profiles you would like to suspend using the check box next to their names.
- Select Mass Manage.
- In the first drop down select Change Field.
- In the next drop down to the right select Status.
- In the bottom right drop down select Suspend.
- Select Perform Mass Manage.
Note: This action will suspend the selected accounts immediately.
Suspending accounts, whether individually or in bulk, can be done efficiently through the described steps. Remember, the location of the Suspend account option has recently changed and is now above the Username and Password.
