Elvanto simplifies the process of keeping family information up-to-date. By allowing members to edit their family profiles directly, you reduce administrative workload and empower families to take ownership of their data. This article explains how to enable this feature for your church and how members can utilize it.
Please note, profile pictures cannot be uploaded for family members.
How to Enable Families to Edit or Add Profiles as an Admin
- Log in as a Super Admin or an Admin with Settings permissions.
- Click on "Settings" in the upper right corner, then select "People."
- Scroll down to the "My Family" section.
- Adjust Permissions:
- Enable/Disable Family Editing: Choose whether to allow members to edit their family information.
- Restrict Editing Family Members: Optionally, prevent members from editing the details of other family members.
- Prevent Adding New Family Members: Optionally, disable the ability for members to add new family members to their profile.
Steps for Members
- Access Elvanto using your member credentials.
- Hover over your profile icon in the upper right corner and select Profile.
- Click on Family in the left-hand menu.
- Click on the profile of the family member you want to edit.
- Make the necessary changes to the family member's details.
- Click Save to update the profile.
