How to complete Flow Step Assignments

People Flows in Elvanto streamline follow-up and communication with members. As a flow administrator, you'll receive assignments to complete specific steps within the flow. This article outlines how to access, view, and complete your flow step assignments efficiently.

How to complete Flow Step Assignments

  1. Log into Elvanto's admin dashboard.
  2. Hover over People.
  3. Select Flow.
    Note: You can also navigate directly to your Flow assignments by accessing your dashboard notifications.
  4. From the list of Flows select a Flow.
  5. Select a Flow Step.
  6. From the View dropdown, select 'Assigned to You' to view all your current assignments. 
  7. In order to complete your Flow assignment successfully, Elvanto will display the following information, based on your Access Permissions levels.

    1. Actions will allow you to:
      • View the person's profile (only if the user has access permissions granting them access to view People Profiles)
      • Reassign the person to a different flow admin
      • Complete the Flow Step
      • Change the due date of your assignment
      • Change the status of your assignment. You can choose between the following options:
        • Not Started
        • Pending
        • In Progress
        • Complete
      • Remove the person from this Flow Step
      • Add the assigned person to another People Flow
    2. Any available Flow Step Instructions will be displayed within your assignment. 
    3. You will find all basic contact details within your assignment. 
    4. Select 'Complete this Step' once you have fulfilled all step instructions.
      • Optionally, you can leave a note, mark it as private, and/or assign a note category.
      • Determine next steps by selecting follow up actions for the step member. These may be set up automatically as shown in the example below.
      • Select 'Complete Person'.
