This article explains the difference between using Manual vs. Automatic Label Printing Setting. Based on your check-in needs you can toggle between either setting to optimize your check-in flow and process.
How to use Manual Print
- Log into Elvanto and navigate to Settings > Check-In > Label Printing (you may need to ask an admin for help if you do not have access to this area).
- Under Print Settings, select Manual Print for the desired type of check-in labels (children, volunteers, or all).
Note: Make sure to enable parent labels if you would like to print pick up tags. - Navigate to Services > Upcoming Services.
- Select Check-In for the service you would like to record your check-ins for
- From your check-in screen (either admin or self-check-in), look up the child(ren) you would like to check in:
- Click Check-In next to each child that you would like to check in or select “Check-In” all at the top of the screen.
- Click the blue Print button next to each child’s name to print a name tag for the child or click the blue Print All Labels button towards the top of your screen (repeat this step if you need multiple tags)
- Complete the check-in process by clicking the blue Finish and Print button and to obtain your parent tag.
How to use Automatic Print

- Under Print Settings, select Automatically Print for the desired type of check-in labels (children, volunteers, or all).
Note: Make sure to enable parent labels if you would like to print pick up tags. - Navigate to Services > Upcoming Services
- Select Check-In for the service you would like to record your check-ins for.
- From your check-in screen (either admin or self-check-in), look up the child(ren) you would like to check in:
- Click Check-In next to each child that you would like to check in or select Check-In all at the top of the screen
- Optional: Click the blue Print button next to each child’s name to print any additional name tags for the child or click the blue Print All Labels button towards the top of your screen
- Complete the check-in process by clicking the blue Finish and Print Labels button and to obtain your child and parent tags with one click.
