A full band is a party! But before your band can play music, they need access to your church’s Songs.
Setting Up Access to Songs
Volunteers can be allocated access to Songs via Access Permissions. You can further restrict access by limiting it to certain departments only.
For step-by-step instructions on how to do this, visit this page.
Using Songs To Learn
‘Songs To Learn’ is a feature that identifies new songs for your Creative Ministries department.
- To mark a song as new, check the ‘Songs to Learn’ box.
- It will then appear in the volunteer’s notifications.
- Once volunteers have learned the song, they should mark the song as learned to remove the notification.
By setting up access and using the 'Songs To Learn' feature, your band will always be prepared with the latest music for your services.
To get this feature up and running, you'll first need to ensure that your users have access to the Songs section via Access Permissions. Then, make sure any songs that need to be learned are marked as a 'song to learn'.
Once this is set up, your users will see any new songs marked as "Songs to Learn" on their dashboard. Here’s a quick rundown of the steps:
1. Navigate to Settings > Access Permissions in your Elvanto account.
2. Click on the Access Permission, select the option under Admin Area > Songs, tick the box to allow access to Songs, and tick the box next to "Moderator".
3. Once this is done, any new songs marked as "Songs to Learn" will appear in your users' Dashboard.
