In this article we will cover how to add, edit, and delete a people category. In our system, people categories are a powerful tool that allows your church to group and sort individuals according to your preferences. It's important to note that unlike a person’s status, categories are not directly related to pricing. Each person can only belong to one category and have one status at a time.
How to Add a People Category
- Log into Elvanto as a Super Admin or Admin with People Permissions.
- Hover over the People menu.
- Click Categories.
- Click Add in the upper right hand corner.
- Name the category and drag and drop you fields into the layout.
- Click Save.
How to Edit a People Category
- Log into Elvanto a Super Admin or Admin with People Permissions.
- Hover over the People menu.
- Click Categories.
- Click on the Name of the Category you want to edit.
- Make any necessary edits to the category.
- Click Save.
How to Delete a People Category
- Log into Elvanto a Super Admin or Admin with People Permissions.
- Hover over the People menu.
- Click Categories.
- Click on the drop down menu next to the people category you want to delete.
- Click delete.
- Click confirm to delete the category.
- Choose what category you would like to move the profiles to.
- Click Delete.
