The Needs feature in Elvanto allows users to create, subscribe to, and manage different types of needs, ensuring that the right people are notified and can take action. This guide will help you understand how to access and manage needs in the Member Area, ensuring you can stay up-to-date and contribute where needed.

Where to Find Needs
- My Profile: On the left-hand side of the My Profile section, users with access to Needs in the Member Area will see a Needs option in the sidebar.
Subscribing to Need Types
How to Subscribe
- Enable Subscription: To subscribe to a need type, simply click the Enable checkbox next to the desired need type. To unsubscribe, just uncheck the box next to the relevant need type.
Receiving Notifications
- Email Alerts: Once subscribed to a particular need type, users will receive an email alert whenever a new need of that type is created.
