How to Edit a Transaction in Elvanto

Maintaining accurate financial records is crucial for any organization. Elvanto, a powerful church management tool, simplifies this task by meticulously tracking and recording all your transactions. How to Edit a Transaction in Elvanto

  1. Log into Elvanto as an Admin.
  2. Select Financial.
  3. Select Transactions.
  4. Choose the transaction you want to edit.
  5. You can edit the following areas in your transaction.

    1. Name (Click the blue change button)
    2. Batch
    3. Transaction Date
    4. Method
    5. Check Number
    6. Amount
    7. Account
    8. Memo
    9. Tax Deductible Status
  6. Once you edit your transaction, click save.

How to Edit the Donor on a Transaction

  1. Log into Elvanto as an Admin.
  2. Select Financial.
  3. Select Transactions.
  4. Next to the donor's name, click the Change button.
  5. Start typing the name of the correct donor, and select them from the list.
  6. Click Save Person.
