❗ Important Consideration
In the event your organization fits into one of the following:
- Has giving that cannot be imported into Tithe.ly Giving that you would like to include on a single statement.
- Is using Elvanto Pledges and would like to include a pledge overview statement.
- Prefers the customizability of Elvanto statements.
Continue reading below for instructions on how to generate, print and email giving statements in Elvanto.
Please Note: Elvanto Super Admins or Admins with Financial Access Permissions can generate giving statements.
How to Generate Giving Statements
Elvanto Tip
The Giving Statement Report will automatically include Giving Statements for archived and deceased members within the selected date range.

Login to your Elvanto Admin account.

Select Financial from the left-hand menu.

Select Giving Statements from the Financial menu.
Note: It's a good ideas to set up your Giving Statement Template. -
Click the Publish Giving Statement button.

Enter the name for your statements.
Example: Giving Statements 2021

Enter your date range.

Select if you'd like to generate statements for families or individuals.
If you select families, a checkbox option will appear. Check if you would like to separate Primary and Spouse from other family members giving. -
Under the Transactions & Pledges heading make the following selections:

Select All Transactions to include giving linked to Elvanto pledges.

Select Transactions & Overview to include transactions in the giving statement. Or Select Overview Only to exclude a breakdown of transactions.

Select Pledge & Tax Overview to include pledge and giving transactions in the giving statement.

Check Off the "Include people with pledges that have not had any transactions" box to generate statements for those who have pledged but not given in another form.

Select Deductible only from the Tax Deductible dropdown.

Select All Accounts.

Select your Statement template.

Click Save at the bottom right side of the page.

The Giving Statements page will re-load and you will see your newly created statement listed.

You're done!
Please Note: Once Giving Statements are published, members of your church can view their statement on their My Profile page. 🎉
How to Print and Download Giving Statements
If you have not generated the giving statement you would like to send yet, please work through the steps above.

Login to your Elvanto Admin account.

Select Financial from the left-hand menu.

Select Giving Statements from the Financial menu.

Locate the batch of Giving Statements you would like to print from your generated statements listed.

Using the dropdown menu to the right of the Send button, select Print Statements.

A pop-up will appear, select whom you'd like to print statements for.

A new webpage will open with all the giving statements that fit into your selected category. You can print or download your statements from this page.
How to Email and SMS Giving Statements
If you have not generated the giving statement you would like to send yet, please work through the steps above.

Login to your Elvanto Admin account.

Select Financial from the left-hand menu.

Select Giving Statements from the Financial menu.

Locate the batch of Giving Statements you would like to print from your generated statements listed.

Click the Send button.

A Contact People card will appear.
Select how you would like to send giving statements. You can send by:

Email and SMS
-
Email Only
-
SMS Only
Please Note: You can only send by SMS if you have an SMS integration setup. 📄 More Information: SMS in Elvanto.
On the right you will see a list of recipients, here you can remove anyone whom you would not like to send a statement to at this time by clicking the red trash can next to their name.

Click the Send button.

The shared link to the individual's statement will be valid as long as the tax statement remains published within the Giving Statement area.
