You can allow people to choose what departments and positions they serve in. There may be some departments, sub-departments, or positions that you don’t want to allow your volunteers to assign themselves to.In this article, we will go over how to disable the ability for volunteers to self-assign roles.
Disabling/Enabling Self-assign For A Department
- Log into Elvanto as an Admin
- Select Settings.
- Locate and select Departments.
- Select the Department you would like to edit or select Add to create a new Department.
- On the Details page locate the Self-assign section.
- Select either Enable or Disable self-assign for this department.
- Select Save.
Disabling/Enabling For Sub-departments
- Log into Elvanto as an Admin
- Select Settings.
- Scroll down to Sub-departments.
- Select the Pencil Icon next to the role you would like to edit.
- Select either Enable or Disable self-assign for this department.
- Select Done.
- Select Save.
